Kilimbi's altitude is highly conducive to the production of exceptional coffees. The drying beds are spread across a wide and open area, allowing the coffee to benefit from maximum airflow and sunlight during the drying process. Built in 2016, the facility holds the distinction of being Muraho Trading Company's first washing station.
Like Gisheke, Kilimbi is accessible only by boat, and farmers cross Lake Kivu to deliver the produce from their farms.
